The Minotaur is a boss monster that appears in Round 6. It is a gigantic, humanoid bull wielding a colossal axe. While it possesses immense physical strength and durability, its movements are slow and predictable, making it vulnerable to skilled players.

Despite being the boss of Round 6, it is regarded as weaker than the High Orc boss from previous rounds. This is due to its lack of versatility and poor agility, which made it an easy target for Black Scythe (Ryu Min), who defeated it in a single strike.

Appearance[]

The Minotaur stands at 6 meters tall, covered in brown fur with red eyes that glow menacingly. It has a massive muscular build and wields a huge battle axe, which it swings with devastating force.

Abilities and Combat Style[]

The Minotaur relies on its brute strength and endurance to overpower opponents. It does not use magic or advanced techniques but compensates with high durability and raw damage output.

Abilities[]

  • High Endurance – The Minotaur can withstand prolonged battles due to its thick hide and high HP pool.
  • Heavy Attacks – Its axe swings deal massive damage, capable of killing players in one hit.

Weaknesses[]

  • Slow Movement – Despite its strength, the Minotaur is sluggish, making it easy to evade.
  • Predictable Attack Patterns – Its combat style is straightforward, allowing skilled players to anticipate its moves.

Combat Style[]

The Minotaur fights using pure physical attacks:

  • Axe Swings – Devastating melee attacks that cleave through multiple enemies.
  • Charges – Attempts to ram players using its immense body weight.
  • Shockwave Stomps – Stomps the ground to create a localized shockwave.

Notable Encounters[]

The most notable encounter with the Minotaur was during Round 6, where it was instantly killed by Black Scythe (Ryu Min) using Moonlight Slaughter. The boss, which typically required a team of 20 players to defeat, was decapitated in a single hit.

Drops[]

Players who successfully defeat the Minotaur receive:

  • Gold (1,200)
  • 3x Experience Boost
  • Bull Leather – A high-quality material used for armor crafting.
  • Blueprint: Minotaur Armor – A rare consumable that reveals the crafting recipe for Minotaur Armor.

Trivia[]

  • The Minotaur was originally believed to be a challenging boss, but its predictability made it easier to defeat than expected.
  • It is stronger than regular monsters but weaker than some sub-bosses.
  • Ryu Min chose not to craft Minotaur Armor, as it was designed for tanks and did not fit his playstyle.
